Tell FDA to Label GMOs

Action alert from the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund:

“Transgenic seeds should not be on the market. They are a threat to the future of farming and consumer freedom of choice. Monsanto should not be suing farmers whose land the company’s products contaminate; Monsanto should be paying them damages.”

-Pete Kennedy, Esq., President of FTCLDF

Health Journal Offers Free Vaccination Choice Flyers and Posters

Announcement from the Weston A. Price Foundation:

Vaccination education flyers and posters are offered at no cost by the Journal of Natural Food and Health for their 2012 campaign called:  Your Child.Your Choice. Education Before Vaccination.

These materials explain health risks of vaccines and asks: Are vaccinations really “safe and effective”—or necessary?

“Education is the key to making sound decisions in a free society rather than others dictating personal health decisions for you and your family”, explains David Augenstein, MS, PE (aka Mr. Augie), Publisher of the Journal and WAPF member.  “Parents should have a choice to vaccinate their children or not– but they are not being told that legal exemptions are available or the real health risks of the vaccinations themselves.”

Defending Raw Milk Against the CDC

News from the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund:

by Judith McGeary, Esq.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a study in February that the agency publicized with the headline, “Majority of dairy-related disease outbreaks linked to raw milk.” It’s not surprising, but still disappointing, to see how the agency was willing to ignore the real facts and data in order to try to discourage people from drinking raw milk.  More . . .

On April 1, 2012 an Invasive Species Order (ISO) that DNR issued in December 2010 prohibiting the possession of a number of different breeds of swine will go into effectmore

Submit comments on TAHC’s new proposed rule for cattle ID

Action alert from the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance:

Last fall, we alerted you to a proposed rule from the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) that would have required require official identification on a wide range of cattle sold at sale barns. The agency has withdrawn that proposal, and is now proposing a new rule that would require official identification whenever a cow is sold, whether through a sale barn or private treaty, if the cow is parturient (within 2 weeks of giving birth), post parturient, or 18 months of age and older except steers and spayed heifers.
